Rule of thumb: about 9 square feet per dancing couple, with about half your guests dancing at once.

What we need for your quote

  1. Surface: grass, patio, sports court, indoor venue or home. Photos of the spot help us plan the install.
  2. Timing: tell us up front if delivery or pickup needs to happen after hours.
  3. Venue rules: many venues want the floor out by 10 pm.

Installation rules

  • Patio: below 90°F we use snap-lock floors. Above 90°F we use wood floors so the tiles aren’t damaged.
  • Grass: a sub-floor is required, charged at 50% of the dance floor rate. Turn off sprinklers 24 hours before install so the floor doesn’t warp.
  • We no longer install on gravel, dirt or sand.

After-hours pickup

After-hours removal is extra; ask us for the price. Morning pickup by 10 am is free with your venue manager’s OK. If the venue charges more than that for an overnight stay, book after-hours removal with us instead.

Weather

Rain can push installation to the next morning. There are no refunds for rain days, last-minute cancellations or downsizing.

Dance floor questions

How big a dance floor do I need?

Plan for about half your guests on the floor at once and about 9 square feet per dancing couple. For 100 guests, a 12 by 21 ft floor (up to 70 people, $742) is a good fit.

Is setup included?

Yes. Every price on this page includes setup by our crew. Delivery and tax are added on your quote.

Can you put a dance floor on grass?

Yes, with a sub-floor, which is charged at 50% of the dance floor rate. Turn off sprinklers 24 hours before install so the floor doesn’t warp.

Can you install on gravel, dirt or sand?

No. We no longer install dance floors on gravel, dirt or sand.

What happens if it rains?
